I installed the latest RC release 4.0.10 and I ran into a small issue with the skin on the Article Details.

It appears to use the Admin skin instead of the portal. When I clicked on the article Title to read it, I was getting the Admin skin instead of the one that I assigned to the portal.

I worked around it by reassigning the Admin skin to the portal skin.

    Thanks for all the work!

In the module settings, you can select to view the Details in the Same Page or Different Page. The module will use the Admin skin when New Page is selected.

    Hi,

When we click on comments from the Article Listings, it takes us to the Article Details Page. I am able to add my own skin, but other modules displaying throughout my website are not displaying here.

I have some modules, like login, quick links on my left pane, plus some other on the main pane. All of them just hide when i am in Article Listing page.

    Kindly advise the solution.

    Asif,
I'm not clear on your problem. I've never seen a case where the other modules on the page don't display for the Article Listing. If you have, New Page selected for the Details Display, then all other modules will not be displayed when you go to the details. But the listing page (where the descriptions for all articles are displayed) should always show all modules.

    Hi Mr. David,

Its good to see your quick response. You got the right problem.

Our article listing page is displaying other modules. But when user goes to the listing details, the modules no longer remain there.

Our article listing page don't have "Read more" link.. It just displays an image, short description and comments lik. When user clicks on the comments link, he is directed to Article Details page, where modules are gone!!

I wonder if we have to use the "Read more" link instead of "Comments" link to get to the article details page??

Thanks in advance for all your great support.

In the Settings for the Module, expand the Article Options section and then for the "Display Details", select "In Same Page". This will cause the Article Details to be displayed in place of the Article List so that all page modules will still be displayed.

I should probably make this the default option as this is by far the most frequently asked question.
