Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate

This site was created by a team that I led while I was at Habanero with most of the branding and design work being done by our Partner, Toky Branding and Design.
The creation of this website involved a lot more than just the site, the Missionary Oblates and the Shrine of our Lady of the Snows were looking to transform themselves, and the website was a big part of that.

The creation of this website involved a lot more than just the site, the Missionary Oblates and the Shrine of our Lady of the Snows were looking to transform themselves, and the website was a big part of that.

As part of creating this website, the Missionary Oblates underwent an entire re-branding process that completely changed their look. The new website was one part of a modernization process that attempts to develop a new donor base for the Oblates by reaching out to middle age and young people.

Site Features

  • an integrated, custom-built Content Management System,
  • an online gift shop,
  • several different online donations sections,
  • and integrated backend database systems.

My Role

I served as team lead for Habanero and was the primary contact with the staff from Toky, the Missionary Oblates, and the Shrine staff. The team lead role involved:

  • Technical sales work and proposal development
  • Requirements gathering and specification
  • Technical Design
  • Implementation of the design and coordination with the visual designer
  • Project management
  • Lead developer
