Hi David,
I + Frank Wedde have also posted some posts on the Active Modules Forum regarding using a article management system for DNN and I am testing yours now. It seems straight forward and easy to use for a newbee and non-technician as myself.
Question / feature request:
I would like to enter articles within 3 / 4 categories on our site. But when reading one article in detail I would like the users to being able to quickly get an overview over related articles (not in the same category) + the other articles in the same category in 2 separate link modules.
Can this be set up in your system?
Anders

There are a variety of ways you could do this with the Articles module.
At the most basic level, you'd want to setup a separate display page and then you'd want to add three Articles modules: 1 in the content pane for the Article Details, and then two in the right or left page for the Other articles. How you handle setting up the filters for the two module for the other Articles would depend on some factors. I would have to discuss with you in further depth to come up with the best solution.

Hi David.
I'm trying to get control over the separate display page, but I don't manage to add new modules to this page.
Could you tell me step by step how set up the seperate display page?
Feeling a bit lost and stupid
Thanks David.

Hi again David,
Found the setting "display page on different page" that gave me more control over which modules to include on the article detail page. (it says it displays the same modules as on the "parent page".
Where can I set up different filters?
Do you have a related article function? (picking certain articles to be associated with the shown article)

We have more work to do on improving the ease of use and help on the Detail Display piece.
We do not currently have a "Related Articles" feature.
The primary filter that I would think would be helpful is Categories. But, there currently isn't any way to filter out the displayed article unless you were to write a custom Stored Procedure.
